We represent clients at District and Circuit and indeed High Court level and if you have been issued with a summons you should not hesitate in contacting us and in most instances we can provide representation. In particular in recent times clients have often left summonses or Court proceedings unattended to and unnecessary Judgments are registered against them when they may have had a Defence and we advise all clients to attend our offices upon receipt of any Court documents.

We can act in relation to Road Traffic Summonses or certain criminal matters and represent you in the relevant court.

We are also registered on the Criminal Legal Aid panel and we can advise whether you are entitled to legal aid.

We are registered on the Family law Legal Aid Register for District Court matters and after assessment at a local Legal Aid office you can elect to use our services.


We act in all matters such as Road Traffic Accidents,Accidents at Work or in a public Place and deal with all elements from negotiating the material damage or car repair aspect of a claim,to personal injuries Actions, to include claims against the MIBI for uninsured drivers and claims for infants, to liasing with the Personal Injuries Board and issuing Proceedings if necessary and negotiating a settlement on your behalf or if necessary attending at Court and obtaining a Judgment. 


Catriona Byrne has acted in a large number of such cases particularly at Circuit and High Court level and can often advise particularly in relation to liability and the values of any case. We can fully advise you whether you are bringing legal proceedings against a third party or defending such proceedings.

We also act in the defending of cases for Employers and Property Owners.

Business Meeting


In the current climate this is an area that has developed rapidly and we advise both employers and employees in relation to the Law and regulations and regularly attend the Labour Court and the Employment Appeals Tribunal and The Equality Tribunal. 


As an Employer we would urge all employers to contact us to ensure that you are complying with the various regulations and we can advise in all areas from Employment Contracts, to placing employees on short time, to redundancy. 


As an employee often issues such as bullying, dismissal and redundancy arise and we are always available to offer the relevant advice at such a difficult time.


We can assist in Company formations and can advise in relation to commercial property transactions and leases.
